I just downloaded and installed the plug-in today. As far as I can tell, it is going though all the motions, however NONE of the email is being pulled off the server. Though they are clearly in my web window, NOTHING is pulling to my Mail.app... It looks like everything is configured properly, I ran the terminal commands as well...
It shows up in the activity log when I check, but after its done, nothing...

That was interesting... I just got an email - my SourceForge registration confirmation...
I still didn't get the other two I sent myself, but that one was the first to make it though, ironically...
