I've got the same problem. My other hotmail folders (junk mail, e.g.) show up with the proper items, and Mail fetches my Inbox items, but they don't show up in the "In" folder on Mail. "In" is always empty. I can also send mail with no problem. Any ideas?

I had the same problem but I worked it out. Follow the instructions for installation that are in the READ ME file in the httpmail plugin image.
In short: be sure httpmail.mailbundle is in the bundles folder, then open terminal and type "defaults write com.apple.mail EnableBundles 1" and hit enter. That should solve your problem. Have fun. Peace
