I installed 1.44 in 10.4.1 today and mostly it has been fine. However one issue is causing a few problems. The option in the httpmail prefs to "Download Extra Folder". I do not want this on, but when I deselect it (OFF) and go out of the prefs I am not asked to save like I would normally be and as a result the setting reverts to being ON.
I was able to get it to save be deselecting it and the "Include when auto checking for new mail" setting and then it asks to save. Then I went back and put the "include..." setting back to its original position.
Maybe its user error, but I thought it worth reporting none the less.
Many thanks for an otherwise fantastic program.
Jay
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Some of the settings you change don't seem to ask you to save on exit. You could try changing a couple of the other settings as well as the "Download Extra Folder" to prompt the software to ask you to save; then once it is all saved revert the other changes back to their original state.
dunno if this will work, but it can't hurt to try....
