I have been using this without no hassles for a long time.
recently i upgraded from v 1.2 to v 1.22
i find that a new folder called Inbox has also been created. so now i have duplicate mails of all teh mails in my original In folder in my Mail.App in addition to the Inbox folder now created. is this ok or can it be avoided so that all y incoming mails come into only my In folder in Mail.App

Just wanted to add that I get this message everytime I open Mail.App
The mailbox ~/Library/Mail/HTTPMail-sanjaysub@hotmail.com/Inbox.mbox is currently locked by Sanjay Subrahmanyan on host Sanjay-Subrahmanyans-Computer.local.. If you open a mailbox that already is in use, you may damage its contents.
I just click on "Open anyway" but can it be avoided?

yes, i'm having this problem too. furthermore, i've lost all the incoming mail i had in my inbox, and can't seem to locate it. I moved it from the hotmail icon in the bottom of the list to the hotmail inbox at the top of the list. but after the move it never showed up and is now gone.
the hotmail icon (with a globe) that showed up at the bottom of the list after the install of the new plug in, is also gone now.

the solution was to move all the important mail to a new folder. The trash all folders and mailboxes created by httpmail. then restart mail and let httpmail re-create these folders.. tehn move thenm back again...
i found this issue when i was upgrading from Jag... and this fixed it...
this also seems to happt when the hotmial account in in portuguese with the junk mail folder... wonder if it happens in any other languages...
