Hey guys,
I'm trying to configure my MacMail to retrieve and send my hotmail. I am using Daniel's HTTPMail plugin v1.41 and my Mac is running OSX 10.3.6. I have entered all the details correctly and it retrives my hotmail and all the folders etc, but I'm not able to send any mail. I get a message: "The connection to the server services.msn.com on port 25 timed out".
I have gone through all the help topics in Mail & Mac help and I'm not doing anything wrong.
My flatmate and I share the broadband internet connection. I am connected via ethernet to the cable modem, he feeds off my connection via a router and airport extreme card. His Mail.app works perfectly with his hotmail and we have the same settings! I even added my hotmail account on his computer and it works! So clearly this is an issue with my computer. My firewall is off and all my sharing services are on. I've exhausted all the possibilities I can think of. Can anyone help?

Have you've tried deleting the SMTP account, and setting the httpmail account outgoing mail server to "None"?
This should fix the problem.
