Any word on whether this plugin works with Tiger? If no, will it be updated anytime soon?  Does the current version cause any problems when installing Tiger?

    Thanks -- great app!

I am working on an Tiger version of the plugin and once I have the last nasty bug resolved I will be releasing it.  As to when that will be I can not say exactly as I'm very busy with both my day job, my university work and preparing for the arrival of my first child :)

Sounds like you've got a full schedule! Everyone's havin baby's everywhere now!

As a side note, something i've never noticed until I upgraded to tiger, the HTTPMAIL plugin showed up with its own icon as a preference in the Mail preference window. Which I never saw until after going to Tiger. So it's there, but not there.

Has anyone got the current 1.43 iteration to work with Le Tigre at all?

      I was wondering...
I had the Panther version of the http plugin and have since upgraded to Tiger.
My mailbox for Hotmail isn't showing up, and I can understand that, but I was wondering if the modification is causing my other problems too.
Mail seems to not be recognizing any of my mail messages, and I can't get the program to quit!
It shows that there are a certain number of messages in my mailboxes, but then when I click on the mailbox to view it, the number disappears and it says I have ZERO emails in my box!
I hope to GOD it isn't erasing all my email messages!
Have you seen this, and is it an incompatibility with the old plugin that's causing this?  It has done it on my other computer also, and it has the plugin installed as well.
As of now, I have no way of checking email, so I will come back here often to look for a reply.
      Thanks,
      --Carson

        Carson -

Not sure if you tried this yet or not, but to get Mail 2.0 to work, you must remove the httpmail bundle from ~/Library/Mail/Bundles directory and then launch mail.  All of your old mail, except for your hotmail obviously, will then be available.

For more information, the bug is logged here:
        http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1186104&group_id=74709&atid=541803

I have discovered a trick in order to save the preferences.

You need to go to preferences in mail - Accounts - Advanced tab and unclick "Enable this account and then get out in order to save, go back in and then change all the settings you want and then click again Enable this account to save all your settings. everything works now!!!

        Cheers

      YEEEEEEEEEES!  Thankyo!  Thankyou!!  Thankyou!!!

      Retrieving mail nicely!

      A quick question though-

Mail2 nor the hotmail server are saving sent messages.  Any ideas on how I can get this to work.

      Thanx once again!

      Dear Daniel,
First of all I want to thank you for your efforts. Without this plug-in my mac experienca would not be too good.

I wanted to point out couple of things that I think require some attention (unless you experienced them yourself)

      1. The sent items are ot downloaded from the server. Just like that the contents of the "folders" that I created on the server are downloaded empty or totally not as it is on the server

      2. I can't change the settings of the hotmail account in Preferences. For example: If I want to change the "Don't change anything on server"  to  "Synchronize with the server"  plugin does not react.

Thank you again an I hope to soon be as happy with your next update as I was last night...

I had the same problems as Carson Parks and followed Doug's advice. Now when I launch Mail 2.0 all of my offline folders appear and are populated and my Sent, Inbox, and Trash folders are empty. I'm now ready to install v. 1.44. When I run the installer, will all the emails I had in  Sent/Inbox/Trash when using Panther reappear? I wanted to make sure before I do it and it erases my copy of the old Panther bundle that I moved to another location on my hard drive.

When I send the message it is not saved in the "sent" folder nor on the server. Does anybody have an idea what is wrong and how to correct this? Or is it the plug-in problem?
      Thank you very much!
