I searched the support and bug area for a similar problem but didn't find anything so I'm not sure if it is just my install or it's a feature that hasn't been implemented yet.
Anyhow, when I read mail in Mail.app using httpMail, it shows as a read message - the little blue dot goes away. If I were to log into Entourage or the actual web page of my hotmail, all those messages are still marked as unread. Is it just me or is this not yet implemented?

the little blue dot only shows the read status of messages that have been downloaded. If you want the messages to be marked as read, you have to change the download options in the Advanced page of your httpmail account to "Mark as read on download"

Thank you so much. Goes to show that I don't read documentation. I didn't know there was an advanced section for httpmail. I really love this mail.app plugin. But, is there a way to have rather than just marking messages as read after download, is there a way to sync the read status on hotmail along with the read status in mail.app?
