This bug occurs in Mail.app 2.0 is running under Mac OS 10.4 (8A428)

Mail.app 2.0 will not launch properly if httpmail-plugin 1.43 is installed.
The temporary solution is to remove httpmail_panther.mailbundle from
~/Library/Mail/Bundles/

Mail.app 2.0 fuctions properly after this bundle is removed, but the
httpmail mbox is no longer acessible. It appears that httpmail-plugin will
need to be tweaked for Mail.app 2.0

i had aproximatly the same problem : Mail 2 launches, looks
like everything is correct but it's impossible to actually
    see any mail.

I haven't tried yet to remove the plug-in as said above,
i'll try in a week or so (working back on Panther now) and
tell you here folks if that solved my problem.

This plug-in is great ! If M. Parnell can fix it for TIger,
that would be awesome. Thax for your good work !
    Max.

Same problem as nobody. I removed the plugin and Mail
    reverted to normal.

Yeah, I was gonna comment on this too. Only difference is that I put the
    plugin in /Library/Mail/Bundles/ instead.

If you have 10.4, update to the latest version. 10.4.1 disables the latest
version, which needs to be updated for the new version of mail.
