Sorry, A*P*SX, as in what's needed to participate in this beta (because I have 
to compile the beta module for Windows before I can try it out and contribute, 
for what little that's gonna be worth since I don't code these days).

I asked about it in the Apache listserv, and I'm sure I'll have a useful reply 
by this evening; there's some obviously competent and dedicated guys (i.e. they 
have no social lives) in that list.  I'll report back here, for the sake of 
spreading the wealth.
