#3 1.1 works but 1.2 hangs

After some months of v1.1 good working on OpenSuse 10.2, I upgraded to v.1.2 [for this purpose I compiled and installed module-threads 1.67 (tried 1.61 too)].
Asap my clients (either WinXP or Linux) connect the server hangs with this level 4 log (latest lines):

I went back to server v1.1 (keeping 1.2 client) and my tunnels works again.

Any suggestion?
