Hi, I get following with (real) FF: ---------------- Unable to Log In This site uses cookies for its own security. Your browser must be capable of processing cookies and cookies must be activated. Hi, Interestingly, real FF31 ESR and IE11 behind proxy show the same error message, but Chrome doesn't. This could be a bug in HtmlUnit chrome implementation, but FF31 and IE11 match real browser behavior. You can investigate further by turning header logging as hinted in :http://htmlunit.sourceforge.net/logging.html log4j.logger.org.apache.http.headers=debuglog4j.logger.org.apache.http.wire=debug Hope that helps,Ahmed From: Dr. Britta Landgraf <b.l...@fz...> To: htm...@li... Have added more tests. https://sourceforge.net/p/htmlunit/code/9852 These tests are failing because of some encoding issue, but in no case HtmlUnit cuts the URL down to the url you have reported. Hi Ahmed, Thanks for the URL location.Although I see in the test case having #symbol and text following that, I would prefer if the test case contains "&" plus other characters. Is it possible to have that type test case included and publish the results? Thanks in advance. Hi Ronald, Yes, I did check with Charles Proxy and the data after # part is not sent out at all. I am using an older version of HTMLUnit 2.10. When I looked into the source code of HTMLUni 2.16 snapshot (Urlutils.java) file, I saw that after # the data was getting stripped. Let me know if I am wrong. regards Vasu On Mon, Jan 5, 2015 at 9:33 AM, Ronald Brill <rb...@rb...> wrote: > Hi Vasu, > > did some quick tests and can't reproduce your problem. > Can you please check with some tools like Chales WebProxy that the hash > part is really gone. > If yes please provide the detailed 301-Http response and the follow up > request. > > Do you use the latest snapshot? Hi Vasu, did some quick tests and can't reproduce your problem. Can you please check with some tools like Chales WebProxy that the hash part is really gone. If yes please provide the detailed 301-Http response and the follow up request. Do you use the latest snapshot? Which browser? Hi All, I see that redirect URL for HTTP Status code 301 is getting stripped hash symbol for the following URL. http://recruiter.monsterindia.com/v2/resumedatabase/searchresult.html?from=pwr&nai=1&search_submit=Get%20Resumes&mne=4&mxe=9&alw=java,jsp,ejb&day=30&jobtype=&search=contents&nup=2&cl=2%203&srt=rel . The URL that was sent to the host is only http://recruiter.monsterindia.com/v2/resumedatabase/searchresult.html?from=pwr& . Looks like there is a problem. Kindly let me know the solution. Regards Vasu |

Hi, do you use the latest snapshot (http://build.canoo.com/htmlunit/artifacts/ or maven)? Did a check with your code and the dumped file had a size of 1.85M. Hi All, I meet a weird situation in handling attachment(Content-Disposition: attachment;filename="aa.xls"). The size of the file saved into the disk is around 1M (sometimes 1025KB, sometimes 1026KB). But its real size should be more than 1M. In my case, I run my test app and use the wireshark to capture the traffic, and find the attachment size is 1.8M. All the data has been returned by the server size, but the file saved is 1M. The temp file created by htmlunit is 1M too. Got the same results by using IE/Firefox. Is there anyone has idea about this? Test URL: http://www.szse.cn/szseWeb/FrontController.szse?ACTIONID=8&CATALOGID=1110&tab1PAGENUM=1&ENCODE=1&TABKEY=tab1 Test app: package htmlunittester; import com.gargoylesoftware.htmlunit.BrowserVersion; import com.gargoylesoftware.htmlunit.Page; import com.gargoylesoftware.htmlunit.WebClient; import com.gargoylesoftware.htmlunit.attachment.Attachment; import com.gargoylesoftware.htmlunit.attachment.CollectingAttachmentHandler; import java.io.File; import java.io.FileOutputStream; import java.io.IOException; import java.io.InputStream; import java.util.ArrayList; import java.util.List; import java.util.logging.Level; import java.util.logging.Logger; /** * * @author gchen */ public class AttachTester { protected WebClient m_webClient = null; private static final String URL_NON_GEB = "http://www.szse.cn/szseWeb/FrontController.szse?ACTIONID=8&CATALOGID=1110&tab1PAGENUM=1&ENCODE=1&TABKEY=tab1"; private static final String FILE_NAME_NON_GEB = "NonGEB.xls"; private static final String FILE_STORE_PATH = "c:\\"; protected final void setupWebClient() { m_webClient = new WebClient(BrowserVersion.INTERNET_EXPLORER_8); //Setup this web client. m_webClient.getOptions().setJavaScriptEnabled(true);//Default is true. m_webClient.getOptions().setThrowExceptionOnScriptError(true);//Default is true. m_webClient.getOptions().setCssEnabled(false);//Default is true. m_webClient.getOptions().setThrowExceptionOnScriptError(true); //Default is true. m_webClient.setJavaScriptTimeout(0); m_webClient.getOptions().setPrintContentOnFailingStatusCode(false); } protected void cleanWebClient() { if (m_webClient != null) { m_webClient.closeAllWindows(); m_webClient.getCookieManager().clearCookies(); } } public AttachTester() { setupWebClient(); } public void test() throws IOException { String strURL = URL_NON_GEB; String strFileName = FILE_NAME_NON_GEB; final List<Attachment> attachments = new ArrayList<Attachment>(); this.m_webClient.setAttachmentHandler(new CollectingAttachmentHandler(attachments)); this.m_webClient.getOptions().setTimeout(90000 * 3); //3 times as the default time out. HtmlUnit support IE8, IE11, FF24 and FF31 at the moment. Your code creates a fake browser that masquerade itself as IE9. But the whole automatic feature setup in HtmlUnit does not take care of versions different from the supported ones. As result your browser simulation behaves totally strange; as a wild mix of IE8, IE11 and FF features. RBRi -------------------------- Wetator Smart web application testing http://www.wetator.org |

Ok, so my guess is that you are working with the wrong window. > HtmlButtonInput submit_device=(HtmlButtonInput)page2_2.getElementById("Create1"); > final HtmlPage page2_3 = submit_device.click(); > webClient.waitForBackgroundJavaScript(7000); page2_3 is the resulting page of the click event. But from your code, you have to wait for the popup. This means, that the popup is triggered by some async processing. The async stuff will open the dialog window resulting in a new window that is different from the one in your hands (page2_3). After the popup is availabe, you have to find the correct window/page (the dialog window) e.g. webClient.getWindowByName() Hope that helps. RBRi BTW: showModalDialog is a zombie - check here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Window.showModalDialog On Sat, 20 Dec 2014 08:32:16 -0700 (MST) hai wrote: > >Hi, >Thanks for your reply. > > > >Above is the window.showModalDialog which is resulting in pop up > > > >-- >View this message in context: http://htmlunit.10904.n7.nabble.com/Dialog-Box-tp35073p35104.html >Sent from the HtmlUnit - General mailing list archive at Nabble.com. > >------------------------------------------------------------------------------ >Download BIRT iHub F-Type - The Free Enterprise-Grade BIRT Server >from Actuate!
