Hi Ahmed, Did the response data help you to isolate why HTMLUnit was not executing the Recaptcha.finish_reload method? I observed one more thing. The "th" value in reload was different BROWSERVERSION settings. Looks like you have set the useragent to IE. Another thing which I noticed is that HTMLUnit generates "th" string length to 286 bytes but real IE browser is setting the length to 308. Let me know if you need any additional information. Thanks for your help in advance Regards Vasu On 23 June 2015 at 02:45, Vasudevan Comandur <vco...@gm...> wrote: > Hi Ahmed, > > The response for the reload request is as follows: > > Recaptcha.finish_reload('03AHJ_VuupE7eFIaVzElqiohfV-RnNw6OlUHBMGQK1KNYGXK1KEtqX_zV0g6OOu9I_oqT7VXPBuWPDIf0ag4CnfN-7BEVvX8avSmWFcMtSzeLhkXBfGOFuSfAD-1oE_XlevZhg8OPKk-JS-v6nIhlW0wa-d9SErbtn8ClCB3Zw8Ak1Vzo-a_cTCxYrRWML4mc3j2Vs48KaR-ttkJDoPpP2w_ontPfxSmWhVg', > 'image', null, null); > > It is a Javascript and I did not see the next request going out of > HTMLUnit as part executing finish_reload method. > > I hope this helps. > > Regards > Vasu > > On 22 June 2015 at 20:07, Ahmed Ashour <asa...@ya...> wrote: > >> Hi Vasu, >> >> >> Is the above URL not getting out?. Hi David, which version of HtmlUnit do you use and which browser do you simulate? ArrayBuffer is supported since HtmlUnit 2.11. Hi Ahmed, This is the URL that I used. http://www.patcurtis.com/captcha/recaptcha_demo.php What I would like to achieve is teh following? I run an instance of Webclient with JS disabled. But I received a screen from the webserver which has the google recaptcha script embedded. Now, I would like to instantiate another webclient thread with JS enabled which should do the job for me and return the URL of the captcha image. Is it possible to do that or is there any other way by which I can achieve this. I ultimately need the URL of the captcha image constructed by the JS. All, Will HTMLUnit execute text/javascript MIME type received from the server?. It appears that it was not executing the script. What should I do to make HTMLUnit execute JS when there is no action from user? What I observed through the browser is that once the URL is typed behind the scene few JS files were downloaded and finally the page was displayed in the browser. I would like the same behaviour through HTMLUnit also. Is there a way to achieve this? Any pointers/help is greatly appreciated. Regards Vasu |

I wonder what the issue is. https://repo1.maven.org/maven2/net/sourceforge/htmlunit/htmlunit/2.17/htmlunit-2.17.pom.sha1 gives me:c9e762ec2ff24f048ca34dfcc2989671b372ac05 which is what the 'computed' value of the error you have. which is also the value inhttp://repo.spring.io/libs-release-remote/net/sourceforge/htmlunit/htmlunit/2.17/htmlunit-2.17.pom.sha1 Please check the value again. Hi Roberto, Yes, super.compileFuntion is at #215. It is not possible to investigate, if the error is not reproducible. Please use Java 7u80 if you are not. Otherwise, try to make a new project, without any external dependency, and test. Hope that helps, Ahmed From: Roberto Bottoni - AfterBit <r.b...@af...> To: htm...@li... You are not using latest version, as compileString is not at line #205 at com.gargoylesoftware.htmlunit.javascript.HtmlUnitContextFactory$TimeoutContext.compileString(HtmlUnitContextFactory.java:205) Please ensure you are using latest HtmlUnit, preferably snapshot (https://ci.canoo.com/teamcity/viewLog.html?buildTypeId=HtmlUnit_FastBuild&buildId=lastSuccessful&tab=artifacts) Ahmed From: Info Afterbit <in...@af...> To: htm...@li...; Ahmed Ashour <asa...@ya...> Sent: Thursday, June 11, 2015 3:05 PM Subject: Re: [Htmlunit-user] StackOverflowError with HtmlUnit Hi Ahmed .. output in attachment. Hi Teryl, alert(typeof window.ActiveXObject); gives 'undefined' in real IE11, so HtmlUnit behavior is identical. You can look into ScriptRuntime.typeOf(Object). Hope that helps,Ahmed From: Teryl Taylor <ter...@gm...> To: htm...@li... Sent: Friday, June 12, 2015 9:29 PM Subject: [Htmlunit-user] Issue with typeof window.ActiveXObject Hi everyone, Sorry about the previous message with no title.. ack.. here it is again Thanks Ahmed for the help on the last question! I'm having a small issue with swfobject.js. For those not familiar with the script, it's an opensource script that allows for a simple loading of flash files in a website, by creating the object tags... For example: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <html> <head> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/swfobject/2.2/swfobject.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> var flashvars = {}; var params = {}; params.play = "true"; params.wmode = "transparent"; params.allowscriptaccess = "always"; var attributes = {}; swfobject.embedSWF("/temp1.swf", "test", "800", "600", "9.0.0", false, flashvars, params, attributes); </script> </head> <body> <div id="test"></div> </body> </html> -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm simulating an IE 11 browser: HashMap<String, String> activeXObjects = new HashMap<String,String>(); activeXObjects.put("ShockwaveFlash.ShockwaveFlash", "ShockwaveObject"); BrowserVersion browser = BrowserVersion.INTERNET_EXPLORER_11; try (final WebClient webClient = new WebClient(browser, proxyHost_, proxyPort_)) { webClient.getOptions().setThrowExceptionOnScriptError(false); webClient.getOptions().setThrowExceptionOnFailingStatusCode(false); webClient.getOptions().setAppletEnabled(true); webClient.getOptions().setCssEnabled(true); webClient.setJavaScriptErrorListener(new JSErrorListener()); webClient.getOptions().setJavaScriptEnabled(true); webClient.setAlertHandler(new DebugHandler()); webClient.setScriptPreProcessor(new IEConditionalCompilationScriptPreProcessor()); JavaScriptEngine js = webClient.getJavaScriptEngine(); webClient.setActiveXObjectMap(activeXObjects); } -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When I run it, the outputted html doesn't contain the object tags. After debugging the swfobject.js file, I came to the issue being this line of code: if (typeof O.ActiveXObject != D) { ..... } Where O = window, and D = undefined.... if I print out typeof O.ActiveXObject, then sure enough I get "undefined". But if I print simply O.ActiveXObject, I get something to the effect of function ActiveXObject() { [native] } I'm trying to debug this but I'm not sure how the typeof function works in the JavaScriptEngine. Is there a function or HTMLUnit class that someone could point me too that I could debug to see what's happening? I've been playing around with com/gargoylesoftware/htmlunit/javascript/SimpleScriptable.java but it's not giving me what I expected. If someone wants a small working example, I can provide one. I'm happy to debug it myself, just not sure what source code to look at.
