How do they put phrase searches on the AARP web site > without using the Boolean search? Boolean searches are one of 3 methods in which htsearch queries can be specified, the other 2 being "and" (all) and "or" (any) which imply a boolean search with "and" or "or" operators interspersed between each search word. Phrase searching is another matter, although future versions of htsearch (3.2 series) may support phrase searching as a search method. For now, only the 3.2 beta releases of htsearch support phrase searching, and it's selected by putting double quotes around the search terms. This is independent of the selected search method. -- Gilles R. Detillieux E-mail: <gr...@sc...> Spinal Cord Research Centre WWW: http://www.scrc.umanitoba.ca/ Dept.
