Greetings Robert, Yes, most of the htdig.org docs are for the latest release, 3.1.6,=20 but the FAQ is continually updated, and covers the latest beta as=20 well (possibly inconsistently). Once we get our efficiency problem=20 sorted out, we'll be able to release 3.2.0, and update all the docs=20 on htdig.org. The "->text/html" in external_parsers specifies an "external=20 converter", as described in htdoc/attrs.html. I'm not sure what the=20 user means by "the HTML doc of htdig.conf". It is hard to explain what the isolated "(is the default)" means,=20 since I don't know where the user is quoting from... I agree that the default location to search should be the user's own=20 system. That should be fixed by the release candidate, but I mess=20 things up whenever I change the configure script :( Thanks for the feedback about the documentation.
