I don't really understand why you're having a problem with PHP and ASP pages. These pages are server parsed, so all htdig should be seeing is HTML from the server, just like as if it was requesting a static HTML page. Try running htdig with -vvv to find out what's going wrong. See the FAQ on the htdig.org web site for help with figuring out the output and the reasons some documents might get rejected.
