Yes, this would be the way to do it, if you can't adapt another field to 
your will. To start, you'll need to add the field to 
htcommon/DocumentRef.h and the supporting code to 
htcommon/DocumentRef.cc. Add in some code in the parsers (i.e. 
htdig/HTML) and the htdig/Retriever class. That's most of what you'll 
need for indexing and you'll want to retrieve it in htsearch/Display.
