Hello, I have successfully extended the Mailman list manager to use htdig/htsearch to search the pipermail archives produced by Mailman. Htdig builds it's own set of database files which are searced by htsearch. I would like the output of htsearch to include the author of each message. Currently, it displays the name of the the Mailman list and the subject of the message found by htsearch, both preceded by some number of stars, indicating the popularity of each message found by htsearch. The author of each message is embedded in the Thread/Subject/Author/Date html files produced by the Mailman pipermail script, but the author information is not propagated to the htdig databaxes besides possibly being included in the Excerpt section of each htdig database record. Has anyone tried or successfully extended htdig/htsearch to include the author of each HTML/message file it finds during it's digging? Thanks |
