The config file path gets compiled into htsearch. This is a security=20 feature. If htsearch is looking in /opt/www/conf, then either you=20 either have multiple copies htsearch installed and the wrong one is=20 being selected or your attempt to specify --prefix didn't take for some=20= reason. If you still have your config.status file laying around, you=20 can double check the arguments that you provided to configure. I=20 suppose it is also possible that configure is somehow broken in your=20 copy of the configure script, but that isn't very likely. Jim |
