Is there a way to honour access right when using htdig? To describe the problem in more detail: We have files and directories which should be searched. But the = different folders have different access rights. So different users see = some folders but others not. We would like to have one htdig database = but present the user only those search results he has read access to. Is this already existing? Could it be implemented by attaching meta keywords (the name of all = users with read access) to each individual document during the "dig" = phase. And then restricting the search to all documents with the current = users name in the meta keywords plus a "standard search" for the rest of = the search words? I know there are security issues with that. Specially using one database = may generate problems (or at least questions). But I think this could be = solved in a second step. Any advise or comment is welcome. > Joachim Hergeth > Head of IT > AIXTRON AG > Kackertstr. 15-17 > 52072 Aachen > Germany > Phone: +49 (241).8909 276 > Fax: +49 (241) 8909 530 > E-mail: j.h...@ai... > <www.aixtron.com> > ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ > Confidentiality Notice:=20 > This message is confidential.
