Depends on the SQL commands. DDL commands are not compiled as such, but D= ML=20 and DQL commands are. The calls go through the Session class, which you=20 reuse in your code. Hello all, I'm writing a program to analyze hundreds of SQL scripts. I'd love to use hsqldb's SQL parser, but I don't see a straightforward way to do it. Idea 1). Load an in-mem db. Find a way to bypass jdbc so my java code could call the parser and get a org.hsqldb.CompiledStatement in return. This looks like a lot of work. I couldn't find any existing reg. tests that do this kind of thing. Do you all know of any? Idea 2). Hook some code into the hsqldb server engine that serializes the org.hsqldb.CompiledStatement as a string to a table. Read the string from jdbc and unmarshall into the object Any ideas would be much appreciated. --Erik Ostermueller ********************************************************************** The information contained in this communication is confidential, is intended only for the use of the recipient named above, and may be legally privileged.
