[Hsqldb-user] creating a database from an existing result set

Hi

I have an SQL Result Set that I got from running a query over Oracle.

Is there some hsqldb utility function to take this result set and  
create a database table from it? I am specifically wanting to create  
an in memory table from the result set.

Also is there some utility to load a spreadsheet into a database,  
respecting the types in the spreadsheet (so not a text table).

I can obviously write both functions myself, but was wondering if  
there was already some code out there for this.
