As of today, Housekeeper is hosted by BerliOS at http://housekeeper.berlios.de

This decision has been made because BerliOS offers additional features to Sourceforge like an FTP service which facilates file releases. Further, Sourceforge suffers from its great popularity which causes ongoing service availablity degradation.
None the less, the Housekeeper project would like to thank the Sourceforge team for their great service to the OpenSource community!

This project's goal is to provide an application for managing all your
household issues. Currently, it is able to keep a list of food which is on
hand. You can specify expiry dates and sort your food after them so you always
have an overview of what is going to seed soon.

This release's main feature is the separation of convenience foods
from other food. This introduction of categories makes it a bit
easier to decide your next meal while not forgetting "supporting"
food's expiry dates. In a later release you will be able to define

The latest version of Housekeeper has just been released, denoting a significant landmark. With version 0.2.0, Housekeeper becomes stable enough for daily usage.
Additionally, the software's internal structure has improved allowing other developers to easily understand the program code.

The goal of Housekeeper is to provide a platform for managing all your household issues. You will be able to keep overview of how much you paid for food, what you have in stock, store your favourite recipes in a central place and get alarmed about nutritional values you are short of.
