Basically, HoTTProxy was written as a quick hack, to see if a proxy could be thrown together in perl. Brian succeeded. I (Jonathon) have been working to keep HoTTProxy simple and effective as it was initially. Yet now I am working to add more powerful features that I would more easily use on a larger server environment.

The current feature I'm working on now is MySQL Authentication. HoTTProxy now has MySQL Auth built into it, and is selectable thru the config file. Now I am building a nice front-end, written in PHP to easily add/modify users.... read more
