Release Roadmap for YFi Hotspot Manager

The following is a release schedule to which I hope stick.
YFi Hotspot Manager continues on Hotcake's trend where each release will be called Beta-x.
This does not mean it will not be ready for production environments - The idea is to release often - Like most Open Source projects.

Beta-6

• Beta-6 will be the last of the current YFi using the Dojo toolkit and CakePHP 1.2.
• This version has the following new features:

Realm improvements

• The address format of the realm is now fine grained which result in auto Geo-location lookup upon saving.
• If you upgrade from Beta-5 to Beta-6 watch out if your addresses are precious to you before you run the patch, or do not upgrade.
• Option to add a gallery to be used with Dynamic login pages.
• Option to specify a default realm per each NAS defined for use with Dynamic login pages.

Voucher Options

• Option to never expire a voucher
• Option to specify a voucher that is valid 0 days from first login to create fine time based vouchers not expiring after a set amount of days. (Adds flexibility)
• Auto scaling of logo's. This result in better rendering and scaling.

Bug fixes and Improvements

• please add column server (varchar 64) in table nas for who use with original table of freeradius2.
• Change the == to := (this is required for proper sql workings)
• Option for different password encryption formats
• Realm -> NAS check should be based on NAS-IP-Address.

Beta-5

New Features

• Add Notes to Permanent users.
• Permanent user self-service (If they have the rights)
• Use of Dojo 1.6
• Multiple language support (Now supports 11 languages!!! Thanks to the translators)

Features outstanding

• Add expiry date for permanent users
• Use of CakePHP 1.3.x
• Proper EAP support (PEAP/MSCHAP)

• Sample 3rd Party hook-up to create Vouchers on the fly.
• HOWTO Update from Beta-3
