#1 hmc index pages doesn't load - Could not open password file

Just installed HMC as per instructions. I get a 500 server error message when I browse to the web page (http://mysite/hmc/).

Checking in web error log I see:

[Sat May 31 18:35:07 2008] [error] [client 192.168.10.100] (2)No such file or directory: Could not open password file: /opt/HoMaC/etc/hmcpass.txt

What is causing this please?

OK this appears to be down to the mkhmcpass.pl script not being run in the crontab. I inserted the crontab line as specified in the output from the install script but that is not apparently working (Ubuntu 8 system)

Running mkhmcpass.pl manually creates the hmcpass.txt file but logging on with the default uid and pwd (admin/admin) gives error message:

"You don't have access to view this page, an email to the system administrator has been send 1 > ERROR"
