Would it be possible to add a feature
to create, edit and export ebooks/databases of interactive models to teach, document and learn sudoku solving techniques(new and old)
The simplest of such a ebook would be a collection of puzzles sorted out by solving techniques and difficulty. The book should load into hodoku completely. showing an index(on the right window) and when we click a link in index we get a puzzle list. and by clicking on a puzzle, the puzzle should load for solving.
We can do all sorts of things with such a book. while creating one. we can create an interactive model showing all small links we form one by one to create a nice loop. Great for teaching!
We can add out own text description at every step which can be shown in the right.
for example saving our own smart solution paths with comments, explanation at each step and annotations like drawing arrows, lines and colouring at each step as much as we want and saving every puzzle into a single database book and maybe media files like images, flash and videos.(these can rely on an external player)
it would be the great, if we make such books to demonstrate new solving techniques and it would be easy to understand for the learner too.
With this feature and some effort, we can convert the whole guide of solving techniques from player's forum into an interactive ebook that opens in hodoku, saving a lot of time, effort and bringing smartness into learning, teaching and demonstrating a new technique.
