hertzCMS / News: Recent posts

The update manager used for mbCMS and hertzCMS is consuming a lot of memory.
This is going to change.
Let's have a look at recent results:
current.db: load uses 3110kb ** old format
current.zip: load uses 322kb ** new format

This is already merged into the update loader,
and as soon as the update creating engine has been entirely amended, it will be released to public.

since using the new old cms (yeah, the mbCMS successor candidate hobCMS) did not work fluently on my server, Kilian Schmuck helped me at improving the look of mbcms. Due to network infrastructure changes, ldap support got added and improved support for strato's limited (safe mode)php has been added (not much but at least some lines).

Just install hertzCMS 1.2.x.x onto mbCMS 1.1.9.2x .

has been a long time since something was published here and by now 1.2.0.1 is out.

It features
- improved ldap support
- better restrictions on edit
- some little fixes
- improved fail-back for misconfiguration
- anything I cannot remember but has been done
since the latest release.
