Subject: HOAM PHP 8.0
Good evening.
I know it's been a few years since we last emailed, but I was wondering if there were any plans or feasibility for updating HOAM to support version 8 of PHP. I still use it for my HOA.
I see the demo site is still active, but the "Admin admin" password combo does not work. Also during the maintenance script, whatever process there is for recording HOAM installation does not work. It always says

Record system installation.
Could not record system installation.
Checking for new version of HOAM.
Version check complete.
I have not done any real development on this since ~2021, although I do get the itch to do so occasionally. It would not be terribly difficult to support PHP 8 I believe, but I haven't looked that deeply into it.
The more difficult task is moving to the more modern way of deploying things with namespaces, composer, etc. that I haven't really looked into or used yet.
I can't promise a timeline on this but possibly sometime this summer.
Michael, wanted to drop you a note that I've been working on this off and on for the last month or so and should have something worth releasing in June that fixes all PHP 8 issues as well as several other modernization and security changes.
