Windows users may now download a setup program to update the modemDefs and optionally fap.ini instead of having to manually edit or replace the files. The new setup program also stops and starts the hnFAPMon Service after updating the files. In the future (until the next release of hnFAPMon) updated modemDefs and fap.ini will be available with this setup program.

This version supports the new 7000 modem family firmware release, 5.6.0.24. Unless HN changes the location of the status pages, future firmware releases should not break hnFAPMon again with this version.
Version 4.5.3 fixes the problems with hnFAPMon created when HN updated the firmware on the DW6000 and DW/HN7000 modems.
Version 4.4.2 is now available for all supported platforms.
V4.4.2 now uses GMT for the FAPFree Zone start and end times. Users will no longer need to set the times manually.
Version 4.4.1 is now available for Linux and Mac OS X users.
V4.4.1 supports the new FAPfree zone. It also fixes some service startup problems.
For Motosat users, V4.4.1 has new settings to allow the service to continue to run, even if the modem is not turned on. The service can be configured to run forever, or to give up after a set amount of attempts to contact the modem.
Version 4.4 handles the new 3-6(Eastern time) FAPfree zone. If you are in another timezone, you will need to edit fap.ini for your timezone to set the start and end times of the FAPfree zone.
V4.3 gives you the ability to change the IP address of the modem, and the port that the service broadcasts the usage information on.
The right click menu on the client (Win32) allows you to change the port to listen on.
The Win32 hnFAPMon Control Panel allows changing of the network and timing settings.
The Linux/Mac OS X client has a new -p option to set the port to listen on.
Version 4.2.2 of hnFAPMon is available for Win32, Linux and Mac OS X (and any other system that has perl installed)
With V4.2.2, you may now set the amount of your bucket remaining manually. You may also turn off telnet access to the modem, and change the polling interval of the modem.

The current code is Windows only, exept that there is a client that works under Linux. Work is progress on a Linux and Mac OS X service.
