[HAPI-devel] Regarding HAPI usage

  I have installed HAPI and I was able parse the message  given at http://hl7api.sourceforge.net/tutorial.html.

MSH|^~\&|Fake Sending App|Fake Sending Facility||Fake Receiving Facility|200108151718||ACK^A01^ACK|20|P|2.4|  MSA|AA  
   
  What is the meaning of the above message and what are the different HL7 message (formats) so that I can preapare sample message for myself. Where can I get the HL7 standards document for free.
   
   
  I am not sure how I can communcate messages between two applications using HAPI .
   
  Application A - HAPI - Application B.
   
  It would be great if you point to me any useful material on HAPI else where ohere than
