Hi HJT Community, It is a pleasure to be here. I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Fernando Mercês and I used to work with Loucif before. Things changed for him and he kindly ask me to replace him here in the HJT community as project lead, representing Trend Micro. First of all I'd like to thanks Loucif and you all for all your excellent work on it. One of the things that I got most excited about was the C# port that some of you guys are working on. Particularly, I think it is a very smart move. Apart from that, I'd like to point out some suggestions and I'm sure you guys, a way more experienced in HJT development, are the right ones to comment on them: 1. I particularly love Source Forge and all the good work they have been doing with open source software for ages, but I have to admit Github offers an excellent and easy way to contribute. So my plan is to move HJT source code tree (only that) to Trend Micro Github [1], where we put all our open source software. There we can design different branches for beta, release and C# port as well, if that is desired. 2. Since we have a stable VB6 release, may I suggest to focus our future work on C# port? I'd love to hear your feedback. Please, let me know if there is anything I can help with. [1] https://github.com/trendmicro Thanks, Fernando <table class="TM_EMAIL_NOTICE"><tr><td><pre> TREND MICRO EMAIL NOTICE The information contained in this email and any attachments is confidential and may be subject to copyright or other intellectual property protection. Hi All, I'm happy that you guys joined the list of developpers. I came up with a short list of improvement, based on previous feature requests and also based on current threat landscape. If any of you guys would be interested to help on any of the following point, that would be awesome: HJT improvement Plan, organized by priority: - Adding registry entries support - Rootkit discovery - 64 bits full support - Improve clean capabilities - Language localization (ES, FR, IT, DE) - Randomize HJT exe name when loaded in memory - Update source code to VB# or C# Please let me know as soon as you can as I have to manage the work load between different people and I don't want to end up having 2 people working on the same things. I don't want to waste anyone time :) Thanks for your help.
