i was thinking to change a lil' bit what HJT should display in the log file to make it more convenient for people to read it. Instead of listing everything and have ppl looking through lines of log, we could actually just display what we consider to be suspicious or malicious. this can be done via a list of whitelisting. what do you guys think?

several people feel the same way too. But this is a lot of coding and probably a smart move would be to upgrade HJT to a newest coding language and adding this feature at the same time.

Yes, that's a very appealing idea. What turned me off HJT was the voluminous logging -- I didn't have the patience to wade through it all.

So do you have a particular coding language in mind?
I was thinking about C#, so avoid dependency to .Net framework if we use VB#
