Description:
I think it would be really usefull if the Criteria API also supported ordering on joined column tables, for instance:

List cats = sess.createCriteria(Cat.class)
    .createAlias("mate", "mate")
    .addOrder( Order.asc("mate.age") )
    .list();

I hope this could be developed soon!
