Yeah, we could add this code. The good thing about this is you can deployt
the mappings with the classes (as I suggest) but then load them all in one
shot. Except I would use:

  if( z.getName().endsWith(".hbm.xml") )

If you want to check in this code yourself, tell me your sourceforge
