I've used the great HexEdit for several years now, and, when I switched from PC to Mac, I immediately downloaded the program for OSX. As others have reported here and elsewhere, some of my files now open in HexEdit rather than in whatever they used to open in. I understand how to apply the 'Get Info' and 'Open with' commands to such files, but in the case of Windows .exe files, I can't change the 'open with' window from 'HexEdit' to 'none'. And, of course, my Mac doesn't have a program that can open .exe files, so there's no other option. This is a problem because I still enjoy playing some of my old PC games under DOSBox. DOSBox doesn't work any more with my .exe files because they're opening in HexEdit.
Any ideas?
