Currently -kn SLK formats are only valid on the command line when starting a new edit. The design does not permit a change in SLK format during a session and allow the session to continue. I would like to see the design changed to allow a change in SLK format without having to "FILE" or "QUIT" a file, and then having to re-start the edit on the file with a new SLK format.
