#20 Auto SYT offset for firewire out
Automatically sets the SYT offset for ieee1394 output. I believe there is an example of how to find out the offset here:

In the meantime though, it would be nice if we could change the SYT offset in the preferences menu, instead of having to modify the source and recompile again.

Is SYT offset something people need to get involved with to
export DV?

From my understanding yes. The kino support forums mentioned the
dv1394 driver instead of the ieee1394 driver, and that seems to work
properly.
With out the proper SYT offset, the video exported is extremely jumpy, and
blocky.
