#22 How to remove links on left handside of Homepage

Helpme ICT is a brilliant system. Thanks a lot for the effort you guys have put into this.
Would you know which file within the system hold the hyperlinks on the left hand side of the Homepage (index.php).
These links are only relevant for a developer and the users do not need them. Instead I could replace them with meaningful links for my users.

I have searched everywhere as I would like to remove those links which are not relevant to our users, but can't find them. I am referring to the links that goes :Home, About, Documentation, etc...then further down sponsors.

These are the links on the sidebar before a user logs in.

When you log in as the root user, there will be a Front Page Sidebar link along the left. This will allow you to change what links are shown on the front page.

Also, how do I customise the sidebar users see after they have logged in? the sidebar.inc file seems to control it, but making changes to this file does not seem to have any effect. For exaple, I would like to add additional links to the sidebar, but cannot.

I used the (De)restrict to remove 'My Details' and 'My Preferences', but that's about it.
Any help will be appreciated.
