What version of files did you have from the CVS version? I didn't play games with the timer code at all. I am wondering if one of my changes made a mistake. As it is the CVS trunk version is not functional as I have not checked in the 1.0 version of the upgrade script, yet I checked in the 1.0 version of the database file. I will fix this this weekend.
