#40 Users stuck in non-existant domain

We have a number of users who appear to be stuck in a
domain that was deleted and subsequently we cannot
delete these users (or mark them as deleted). The
domain was deleted using v0.8 then we upgraded to v0.9,
by running the database upgrade scripts, v0.8 - v0.81 -
v0.85 - v0.9.

Question is, would there be a way to change these users
to the new domain or mark them as deleted?
