What exact steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open HeidiSQL 4.0 rev.x.y 2275
2. Open a database
3. Open one of the tables, click the DATA tab
4. Place your cursor in the last field in the last row
5. Press TAB, a new blank row should appear ready for me to enter the new
data.
What was the expected output?
Problem with (HeidiSQL 4.0 rev.x.y 2275) Pressing the TAB key does not add
or insert a new row.
What happened instead?
Nothing happened as the TAB key function is non-existent.
Suggested fix (optional)?
Bring back this feature from HeidiSQL 3.2 rev.1129
I am no programmer, I have no cluehow it's done.
Version used? (version used that does not work with the TAB key)
HeidiSQL revision: 4.0 rev.x.y 2275
MySQL Server version: 5.0.51b
Operating system: Windows XP

Yes I did, but the TAB key works in the opposite direction with SHIFT+TAB.
I just find it odd that it works backwards and not forwards.
I guess it's left to up to the user on this instance. "if I could code it I would do
it"
Thanks again.

Cheers
