#50 Notification Number

Hi,

due to the numerous capabilities and notifications
Healthmonitor caters for, decided to write a small
program which checks if it possibly can handle some of
the error conditions.

Run into a few difficulties. Using the script notification to
start the script. %S passes a terse message of "Check
Event" or "Check Service" or whatever the source.
%M contains most likely error. This makes it a bit
difficult to find the actual error in the Notification.log file
with the information provided.

Suggestions:
Tag each entry into the Notification.log with serial
number and pass this number as %N to the Script
notification. Makes life a lot easier.

Allow specification of the maximum file size of
Notification.log and wrap around when reached.

Otherwise a great tool!

After discussing by e-mail about needings, we decide to add
a notification number within text file logging and make it
available within script notification with %N.
These feature will be available in version 2.2
