I was thinking, what if you could use one of the SLFO algorithms to modulate the Depth control of one or more LFO's.

Seems the coding is mostly there, just needs to be applied to the value of the depth setting.

When I change depth control, it sounds like the LFO amplitude goes up higher.. it also dives down further.. plus it sounds like the width/duration widens up as well.. this would translate into a very dramatic variation if the Depth could be automatically varied by a SLFO... gradually changing the depth value up/down.. from 0-15 and back again... or by 0-63 if those values are ever applied as mentioned in a previous Request.

I think it'd be a really cool addition if you could apply a triangle, ramp, sine, S&H or PW waveform that follows one of the SLFO's freq.. I've tried drawing what the waveform would look like with say:

A triangle LFO1 cross modd'd to a ascending ramp SLFO3.. then those two ride on the depth modulation that is tied to SLFO4's freq. and waveform.

The waveform pictures I come up with are very wild looking..

This feature has been added to VCF modulation. The feature is available in software versions 2.6.5 (version 2.6.5 will be released in March 2015). and above.

Parameter 47 allows setting the second modulator to attenuate the first modulator. See the attached example syx patch that shows the VCF being modulated by the first modulator while the second modulator attenuates the intensity of the first.

Is there a way to prevent the controlling LFO from hitting "zero"?
IE to prevent the modulation depth from getting shut off.
My experience with this new feature is when it dips down to zero, the modulation stops for a moment and then begins again.. Very frustrating when you expected it to keep " wobbling "...
There must be a way to make it avoid zero modulation.

I just added that and uploaded version 2.65g.
      Now, P2 47 is:
      00 for 1st and 2nd additive modulation.
01-15 for setting the baseline minimum modulation level in 2nd modulator attenuates 1st modulator.
If you set it to 01 it allows going down to zero modulation. But 02 or higher sets the minimum increasingly higher.

      :-)
