OK, I will try again :-) Funny thing is that I have an i386 chroot on this box, and ghc 6.2 doesn't seem to have any problem with it in that chroot. I figured it was a 6.4 regression, but I suppose it does make sense that it could be an amd64 performance thing (ghc does seem slower on amd64 overall). -- John |
