I am wondering if there are bugs in the NRD-545 code? I installed both the 1.2.3 and the current CVS versions of hamlib with the same results. Linux distro is Mandrake 10.1. Hamlib will send commands to the radio (NRD-545 Wideband converter installed) using rigctl, but receiving data back from the radio fails. Here's an example: rigctl -r /dev/ttyS0 -m 607 Rig command: f read_string: timedout without reading a character jrc_get_freq: wrong answer , len=-5 get_freq: error = Command rejected by the rig Rig command: The radio works fine usinfgJRC's own remote control software under W2k, and using TK545 under Linux. An AOR AR 7030 works fine both sending and receiving data using hamlib. I can assume the serial port is OK under Linix. gmfsk and sgcontrol also work fine with the 7030, but not the 545. Can anyone confirn whether there is a bug in the 545 code or whether there is something elso going on. TIA Rick Kunath |
