I don't think you can remove directories through CVS, since even an empty
directory contains some bookkeeping data regarding the history of that
directory. If you try to delete a directory, CVS will tell you that it is
deleted, but it remains in the repository.

The only way I know of is to delete it on the file system, but we don't have
access to that on SourceForge.
