I note that the FRG100 is listed as untested. I am using Hamlib as = supplied with Dream v1.1.1 (running on Windows XP) and have noticed that = it doesn't appear to work too well. The issues I see are a) Dream doesn't appear to pick up the frequency from the rig = correctly. b) If I use the 1kHz buttons to increment the frequency, it goes up = by 100kHz. If I use the 10kHz buttons, the frequency goes up by 1MHz, = wrapping at 9MHz back to zero. If I use the 100kHz buttons, it goes up = by 1kHz. =20 c) Dream is polling the S-meter although I am not certain it is = really following what the real S-meter is doing. d) If I use Dream to select a station, a totally wrong frequency is = set Examples Dream Rig 3995 9539.00 15435 3554.01 6095 9560.00 5990 9059.00 A little further fault finding. If I use Dream with my Elecraft K2 - it = correctly sets the rig frequency. If I use an alternative programme = with the FRG100 (Radio Listeners Database by Fineware), it works = correctly. I don't know if this is much help. Unfortunately I don't have easy = access to compilers etc so I can't directly try some of the test = programmes/recompile the source code. If you want me to try out new = builds, please ask. Regards Paul Wilton M1CNK email Paul.Wilton@Tesco.net |
