Hi All.

I can happily report, now that I've tested things, that the recently 
built from source Hamlib 4.7.1 release, handles Flrig just fine, using 
the localhost-address:custom-port combination as needed.  
(127.0.0.1:12870 in the case of the Flrig instance that handles the 
Kenwood TS870 radio.)  PTT is over CAT (via Flrig) too.

Flrig in this case is V 2.0.11.26  Also built from source.

This is all on LMDE7, running on a 4 core Intel box with 8G RAM. Nothing 
special.
