Hmmm, that's interesting, as the description on G4ZLP's site hints that
the rig cable is terminated to a 6 pin DIN connector. I'm guessing that
the three conductor cable plugs into the DigiMaster?
I've confirmed that the backend does respond to setting
--set-conf=serial_handshake="None" and modifies the -L output from:
serial_handshake: "Serial port handshake"
Default: None, Value: Hardware
Combo: None, XONXOFF, Hardware
to:
serial_handshake: "Serial port handshake"
Default: None, Value: None
Combo: None, XONXOFF, Hardware
so that seems to be working. It would seem that turning off all
hardware and software handshaking is the correct thing to do given your
HRD setup and that there are only three wires to the rig.
As I wondered earlier in this thread is whether the kernel FTDI driver
is having some sort of an issue. Perhaps I can drop a mail to the
listed FTDI kernel module maintainers and see what sort of
troubleshooting we can do next. Can you provide the output of
'lsusb -vvvvv'?
After doing that myself I see that I do have an FTDI device, my
HamGadgets MasterKeyer MK-1. I use it with CQRlog with no issues.
