This problem shouldn't be affected by libtool and that is involved when actually compiling. In this case I am running `make dist' as part of my daily snapshot build script that creates the daily CVS snashot tarball. It's in the creation of the libtldl directory in the temporary directory that the problem exists. I suspect some sort of race condition that is causing make to fail, but why on that directory is odd. The build script checks out a clean copy from CVS each time it runs to minimize any error that might occur from continually issuing a CVS update. 73, de Nate >> -- "The optimist proclaims that we live in the best of all possible worlds.
